What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner position at Glendive Medical Center?
The Physician Assistant (PA) and / or Nurse Practitioner (NP) will provide health care services to patients in the Emergency Department (ED) and / or Urgent Care (UC) with guidance / supervision as needed from physician on duty. PAs and NPs are academically and clinically trained to provide direct patient care and are accountable for their own actions. They are supervised by the physician who is on duty as the hospitalist and are responsible for consulting the hospitalist physician as needed to ensure safe patient care.
