Responsibilities

• The Golf Cart Beverage Attendant plays a vital role in providing beverage and snack services to golfers on the course at golf clubs.
• This position requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to operate a beverage cart while ensuring a delightful experience for golfers
• The Golf Cart Beverage Attendant is responsible for delivering refreshments, handling transactions, maintaining inventory, and upholding safety and compliance standards
• Beverage and Snack Service:
• Operate a golf cart equipped with beverages and snacks
• Drive the beverage cart to designated locations on the golf course
• Offer a variety of beverages, including water, soft drinks, sports drinks, and alcoholic beverages (if permitted)
• Provide snacks such as energy bars, sandwiches, and chips
• Customer Interaction:
• Greet golfers in a friendly and professional manner
• Inform golfers about available beverage and snack options
• Take orders accurately and handle cash or credit card transactions
• Provide change as required
• Address customer inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction
• Inventory Management:
• Monitor inventory levels of beverages, snacks, and supplies on the cart
• Replenish stock as needed to maintain a sufficient supply throughout the day
• Keep accurate records of inventory and sales transactions
• Cart Maintenance:
• Ensure the cleanliness and appearance of the beverage cart
• Regularly clean and sanitize the cart
• Restock supplies and properly store perishable items
• Perform routine maintenance checks, such as tire pressure, battery levels, and fuel
• Safety and Compliance:
• Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines while operating the beverage cart
• Observe Oregon's laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol
• Practice responsible service and verify the legal drinking age of customers
• Team Collaboration:
• Coordinate with other staff members, such as golf course personnel, clubhouse staff, and food and beverage teams
• Communicate customer feedback, special requests, or any issues encountered during the shift
• Cash Handling and Reporting:
• Accurately handle cash transactions and maintain cash registers
• Reconcile sales at the end of each shift
• Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and incidents or issues encountered during the shift
• 8 hour shift

**Duties**

- Clean and sanitize cart regularly to maintain high standards of hygiene.

- Participate in regular store cleanliness and maintenance tasks.

- Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

**Experience**

- Previous experience in a food service environment is highly desirable.

- Experience in a customer-facing role is also beneficial.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

- Strong communication and organizational skills are necessary for this role.

**Skills**

- Time management skills to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently.

- Retail math skills to manage inventory and restock beverage carts.

- Experience working in a food service environment.

- Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for all customers.

- Knowledge of food safety and handling policies.

- Experience with food service and sales is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.95 - $20.00 per hour
