- The Golf Cart Beverage Attendant plays a vital role in providing beverage and snack services to golfers on the course at golf clubs.
- This position requires exceptional customer service skills and the ability to operate a beverage cart while ensuring a delightful experience for golfers
- The Golf Cart Beverage Attendant is responsible for delivering refreshments, handling transactions, maintaining inventory, and upholding safety and compliance standards
- Beverage and Snack Service:
- Operate a golf cart equipped with beverages and snacks
- Drive the beverage cart to designated locations on the golf course
- Offer a variety of beverages, including water, soft drinks, sports drinks, and alcoholic beverages (if permitted)
- Provide snacks such as energy bars, sandwiches, and chips
- Customer Interaction:
- Greet golfers in a friendly and professional manner
- Inform golfers about available beverage and snack options
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or credit card transactions
- Provide change as required
- Address customer inquiries and ensure customer satisfaction
- Inventory Management:
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages, snacks, and supplies on the cart
- Replenish stock as needed to maintain a sufficient supply throughout the day
- Keep accurate records of inventory and sales transactions
- Cart Maintenance:
- Ensure the cleanliness and appearance of the beverage cart
- Regularly clean and sanitize the cart
- Restock supplies and properly store perishable items
- Perform routine maintenance checks, such as tire pressure, battery levels, and fuel
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines while operating the beverage cart
- Observe Oregon's laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol
- Practice responsible service and verify the legal drinking age of customers
- Team Collaboration:
- Coordinate with other staff members, such as golf course personnel, clubhouse staff, and food and beverage teams
- Communicate customer feedback, special requests, or any issues encountered during the shift
- Cash Handling and Reporting:
- Accurately handle cash transactions and maintain cash registers
- Reconcile sales at the end of each shift
- Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and incidents or issues encountered during the shift
- 8 hour shift
