Summer Camp Pool Staff

Glenelg Country School is seeking various pool staff, including part-time lifeguards, swim lesson instructors/aides, and pool operators for the 2025 summer season. Glenelg Country School’s Summer Programs serve over 600 families each summer. The qualifications include a desire to work in a fun, fast-paced, child-friendly environment; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and the ability to work well as part of a team. Strong swimming skills and previous experience working in a pool environment are preferred. A current lifeguard certification and/or pool operator certification is not required if applying for those positions. Candidates must be at least 16 years old.

Compensation Range: $16.75 – $18.25 per hour. No benefits are associated with this role.

Glenelg Country School is a co-educational independent school located in Howard County, Maryland has approximately 750 students two years old through twelfth grade.
