This position will operate in a hybrid work environment, 3 days per week in the office (Philadelphia, PA).
OVERVIEW:
The primary function of the GIM National Accounts Officer is responsible for managing primary and secondary national accounts relationships and helping build strategy for execution, as part of the Glenmede Investment Management Distribution team. Responsible for relationship management with Broker Dealers, TAMPS and investment platforms, including manager research and business development. Leverage Partner Firm Data and incorporate into maximizing opportunities national account relationships.
RESPONSBILITIES:
Relationship Management. Managing relationships with National Accounts including the investment research, distribution and business management contacts in both proactive and liaison capacities. Maintain responsibility for all conference planning activities and attends conferences on behalf of Glenmede. Communicate complex topics and decipher analytical concepts across, equity, fixed and alternative asset classes. Responsible for independently establishing their own activity, reporting and pipeline management. Establish a delicate balance of new business acquisition, client / revenue retention and deepen relationships with existing clients.
Networking and Relationship Building. Collaborate with the broader distribution team on industry trends, share relevant information and create best opportunity for success. Function as an extension of investment teams as the first point of contact. Coordinate with key industry organizations and conferences to create increased visibility for GIM and our thought leadership in the respective territory. Provide input to our internal partners on marketing, branding, messaging. etc.
Firm Building. Remain intellectually inquisitive to additional knowledge in all areas (capital markets, products, competitors, etc) that can be used for personal growth and to share across the sales team. Active engagement in department-specific and firm-wide initiatives in order to expand capabilities, create solutions to unmet business needs, improve client experience, or develop more efficient processes. Ability and willingness to contribute to the advancement of team, office and business capabilities. Other duties as required by the position.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, finance, economics or other related discipline.
- 7 years experience in investment management distribution and National Accounts Management required.
- SIE exam, Series 7 / 63 required, CFA preferred or willing to obtain.
