Job description
Seeking a Mechanical Engineer who is proficient in AutoCAD, Inventor and document control systems. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in manufacturing, be self-motivated and work well in a team environment.

Glentek, located in El Segundo, has been designing and manufacturing high performance servo drives and servo motors for over 50 years. Our products are on the cutting edge of technology.
Job Functions:
· Provides mechanical design support to manufacturing by producing detailed drawings, bills of materials, routings, and other manufacturing aids as required.
· Supports product change management process developing new or revised documentation; distributing to appropriate users and ensuring that obsolete documentation is removed
· Generates Engineering Orders (EO) from either direct redline or Engineering change Request (ECR).
· Maintains accurate information in MRP system, including Bill of Material entry and production routings.
· Creates product BOMs from released drawings.
· Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision; Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
· Maintains a safe, secure, and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
· Maintains and protects the confidentiality of the Company’s information and products.
· Performs other duties and projects as assigned or requested.
Position Requirements/Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering required, or equivalent work-related experience.
· 3 years of experience.
· Proficient use of the current version of AutoCAD Mechanical software.
· Proficient use of a 3D CAD software, Autodesk Inventor preferred.
· Knowledge of engineering drawing GD&T (ANSI Y14.5) is preferred.
· Familiar with the ISO 9001-2015 Requirements.
· Manufacturing & ERP Experience.
· Has excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
· Experience with Microsoft 365 (Office) Suite.
- Ability to write test procedures, test specifications and test reports.
· Some Electrical Knowledge.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
