The Academic Success Center (ASC) is looking for Student Workers to fill the front desk position. Student Workers must have experience in managing multiple tasks, decision-making skills, and have excellent customer services skills. Additionally, workers must be knowledgeable in the resources and services that the ASC and Glenville State University campus offers.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Excellent customer services skills when responding to phone calls, voicemails, and with all visitors to the ASC. Perform administrative duties including mail pick-up and delivery, making copies, filing, and delivery and picking up items on campus. Monitor, assist, and answer questions for students who request assistance. Assist ASC staff with various tasks throughout the semester. Assist in the input of data for study hall hours. Must assist in daily sanitization and cleaning procedures for the center. Demonstrate an understanding of privacy and confidentiality requirements. Willing to tutor entry level courses.Available to work evenings and weekend hour throughout the semester.
