Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Psychiatrists to join our teams in our Ohio hospitals. We a leading provider of acute or specialty healthcare services. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of mental health conditions through personalized care that may include psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, medication management, and hospitalization when necessary.
We are recruiting Adult and adolescent psychiatrists for our Ohio based hospitals, including Glenwood Behavioral in Cincinnati, OH. We offer a competitive compensation program, PTO, and complete paid benefits, malpractice coverage, and we pay the tail. Lead the team, round, admit and discharge. We do the rest.Our 80 bed Glenwood Behavioral is Joint Commission Accredited Psychiatric Hospital treating Behavioral Health, Substance use, Dual-Diagnosis or Co-Occurring treatment, Trauma/PTSD for Adults & Geriatric Patients.
•Adolescent and adult unit•20 person caseload •Monday through Friday•One weekend a month •One on call night a week•7-4 or 8-5pm daily (8hrs or less) The LOS is 7-10 days and the average census on this unit is 20 patients. Acadia Healthcare provides psychiatric and chemical dependency services to its patients in a variety of settings, including inpatient psychiatric hospitals, specialty treatment facilities, residential treatment centers, outpatient clinics and therapeutic school-based programs.

Responsibilities
Summary:
- Responsible for providing clinical services to patients at the facility.
- Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
- Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
- Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
- Treat or direct treatment of patients, utilizing a variety of psychotherapeutic methods and medications.
- Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidential documentation, compliance and billing in accordance with the policy and procedures.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
- One or more years’ post graduate degree practice preferred.
- Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Board certification in psychiatry
- Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
