Job Description
Job Title : Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Job Specialty : Behavioral Health
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : Days - 8hr : 8am-5pm, every other weekend, holidays as needed
Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week
Experience : 2 years working with adolescents and adults in an inpatient psychiatric facility
License : Active state licensure for professional therapy providers
Certifications : CPR and de-escalation / restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by the facility)
Must-Have : Experience and comfort working with children and adolescents
Job Description :
- Apply psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions in the delivery of services to individuals and families for the purpose of treating diagnosed emotional and behavioral disorders.
- Conduct a psychosocial assessment and develop an initial discharge plan.
- Conduct individual, group, or family sessions as appropriate for the treatment plan of the patient.
- Provide initial treatment planning for patients based on assessment and coordinate any additional services needed, revising as necessary.
- Maintain documentation of therapy services provided to each patient according to facility and professional standards, revising as indicated by facility or professional standards.
- Maintain an assigned caseload.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and collaborate with other staff to facilitate services for the patient, as appropriate to their treatment plan.
- May provide services in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
- May perform case management, discharge, or aftercare planning as needed.
- Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers at all times.
- Work to resolve complaints and recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
- Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
