Job Description: Guest Screener is responsible for supervising guests as they enter the park and pass through the weapon detection system. Responsible for the overall operation of the weapon screening equipment at the designated checkpoint/ entrances area, scan guests, bags, packages and their items. Monitor the display and alarms of the weapon screening equipment to identify and differentiate between harmless and potentially prohibited objects in the shape of a weapon. This also include doing thorough search of guests who the weapon detection system alerts on. Responsible for notifying management when weapons are found, or issues arise with the weapon screening equipment. Get free access to Glenwood Caverns and enjoy the best work environment! Within 2025 work the following hours and earn a scholarship! You must be a full-time student enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester. Scholarship will be paid directly to your higher education school.
250 hours - $500 higher education scholarship
400 hours - $1,000 higher education scholarship
600 hours - $1,800 higher education scholarship
