Position Description: This position is responsible for the accounting and reporting of all cashier’s daily activities, and ancillary sources of revenue accurately and timely. Ensure all transactions reconcile and enter this information into our daily accounting spreadsheets. Create, update, and maintain Passport packages for ecommerce store. Audit revenue systems, research, and report findings to Accounting Manager. Support sales departments with point-of-sale (POS) troubleshooting. Assist with basic accounting functions.
Position Responsibilities:

- Must not divulge potentially sensitive information to staff and/or guests
- Must be vigilant, attentive, and constantly aware of loss-prevention as a high priority
- Must maintain a calm, diplomatic response to internal/external issues and inquiries
- Must be able to work some weekends and holidays
- Reconcile cashier closeouts and credit card sales with system reports daily
- Reconcile various sources of revenue with credit card processing reports daily
- Review cash needs, roll coin, complete and verify change orders, and prepare deposits as needed
- Perform safe counts and reconciliations with petty cash weekly
- Perform security report audits on a sample of cashier transactions weekly
- Review credit card transactions for unusual activity weekly
- Research, review, and dispute credit card chargebacks as needed
- Monitor and restock card stock and receipt paper in Mobile Money kiosks
- Ability to consistently follow all policies and procedures for credit card sales Ability to clearly communicate policies and procedures to cashiers
- Review and audit Siriusware POS items and item tress for various departments
- Provide support for troubleshooting POS issues as needed
- Create, update, and maintain Passport packages for ecommerce sales
- Data entry in Siriusware and various excel tracking documents
- Assist with general upkeep of the business office
- Complete other duties and tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Strong ability to problem solve and use analytical thinking skills
- Strong mathematic skills and attention to detail
- Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets, data processing, filing/storage, and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to operate a ten-key by touch
- Accurate data entry
- Ability to understand systems and how they interrelate
- Good communication and organization skills
- Proactive and able to take initiative
- Ability to work independently with some guidance
- Associate’s degree in accounting, Accounting/Bookkeeping Certificate, or 2-5 years accounting equivalent experience preferred
- POS set up experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Ability to write general business correspondence and communicate with guests, vendors, contractors, and employees
- Occasional lifting up to 50lbs
- Sitting (80%), bending, walking, and kneeling
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
