Primary Function
Provide excellent customer service to our guests while working as a team player with other Glenwood Hot Springs properties/departments.
Reporting and Accountability:
Front Office Agents report directly to the front desk supervisor and in their absence to the Lodge Manager.
Authority:
The Front Office Agent has the support and authority necessary to carry out the responsibilities and tasks described in this job description and other responsibilities of the Lodge, as delegated by the Lodge Manager.
Physical Requirements
- Adequate physical agility to perform the physical tasks required to operate the lodge front desk including ability to operate a computer, type and stand for long periods of time up to several hours at a time.
- Able to push, pull, carry and lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and follow verbal or written instructions in English.
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Other Requirements
- Capability to learn and follow all Lodge Front Desk policies and procedures accurately
- Positive attitude with guest satisfaction as primary goal
- Adequate computer skills to be able to learn and perform necessary department computer tasks (data entry and retrieval in hospitality system application.)
Work Hours
Since the Lodge front desk is open twenty-four hours a day seven days a week, the Front Office Agent’s work hours and days must be flexible, including nights, holidays, and weekends, to meet the needs of the Lodge Front Desk and Reservations.
