POSITION SUMMARY
Safely transport inpatients for procedures in Radiology. Patients may be transported via bed, stretcher, or wheelchair. Patient safety and dignity are to be maintained-at-all times. The transporter interacts with the patient's caregivers to notify them the patient is being taken down for a procedure. The transporter also notifies the caregivers upon the patient's return to their room and provides hand-off with the Ticket to Ride form.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- No experience is required.
- BLS is required within 30 days of the hire date.
