Pharmacy Technician Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support our licensed pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care and medication services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Order, stock, package, and compound medications according to pharmacy standards and protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; prior experience as a hospital pharmacy technician preferred.
- Completion of an ACPE or ASHP accredited course in compounding sterile preparations is highly desirable.
- Active Pharmacy Technician certification is mandatory.
