Responsibilities:
- In collaborative practice with the clinic neurologists and NPs, the Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistance is responsible for providing independent clinical assessment and patient care management services for Neurological patients.
- The NP/PA must be self-directed and function with minimal direct supervision. The NP/PA functions in an interdependent role by implementing the appropriate Standardized Procedures (SPs).
- The NP/PA will provide and coordinate the care of patients, provide patient/family education, promote safe continuity of care. The NP also participates in clinical meetings, provides education and support, as well as makes appropriate referrals.
- Document services rendered.
Job Qualifications:
- California NP or PA license required
- DEA
- Previous experience in neurology preferred
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Salary : $130,000 - $200,000
