Position Details:

  • Job Title: Business Development Associate
  • Purpose: The Business Development Associate at GliaCell will play a key role in supporting the headquarters team by identifying growth opportunities and ensuring the efficient management of new contracts, acquisitions, and administrative functions. This role involves assisting with market research, relationship-building, and strategic planning, with the goal of driving business development and supporting day-to-day operational activities. In this role, you’ll work closely with leadership and teams across the organization to ensure smooth business development operations and contribute to overall company growth. Your efforts will be key in supporting our strategy execution, client engagement, and internal operations.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Acquisitions Support (Business Development & Networking)

  • Develop and maintain a centralized document to track customer acquisition strategies, ensuring that all efforts are properly documented and aligned with business goals.
  • Support the management and updates of the GliaCell Contract Pipeline, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, proposals, and contracts.
  • Collaborate in the creation of a scoring system for Proposal Wins (PWins) to evaluate and prioritize opportunities effectively.
  • Conduct industry research to identify emerging trends and potential business development opportunities.
  • Attend and document key client meetings, tracking contract activities and contributions for future reference.
  • Review Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Teaming Agreements, providing recommendations to leadership regarding potential risks or areas of improvement.
  • Assist in setting business growth objectives and contribute to the development of actionable plans to achieve these goals.
  • Support the implementation of new target market initiatives through research and analysis.
  • Assist in tracking and managing leads through the sales cycle, ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Participate in industry training, conferences, and/or events as needed or required by management.
  • Monitor and manage engagement within the AWS Partner Network, ensuring it aligns with business goals and objectives.
Contracts Support (Account Management)
  • Assist in maintaining and organizing partner contact information, contracts, and proposal efforts to ensure all relevant documents are up-to-date and accessible.
Administrative Support
  • Provide strategic recommendations to leadership regarding actions, timelines, and key deliverables.
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of GC-HQ files and documentation, ensuring all records are properly archived.
  • Support the administration and implementation of CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) requirements, ensuring the company meets compliance standards.
Talent Acquisition Support
  • Assist the GC-HQ Staffing Team with staffing-related tasks and initiatives, including tracking candidate pipelines, supporting recruitment activities, and ensuring alignment with business development goals.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to independently complete assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Strong ability to think critically, innovate, and contribute to business development strategies.
  • Proven track record of meeting milestone goals and driving initiatives forward.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, ethical standards, and integrity in all aspects of work.
