Janitor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain a clean environment.
• Conduct commercial cleaning of various facilities, including offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Execute floor care tasks such as buffing and waxing to preserve the quality of flooring surfaces.
• Assist with industrial cleaning as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Carry out custodial duties in accordance with established schedules and procedures.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
• Support facilities maintenance by performing minor repairs or notifying management of larger issues.
• Ensure that all areas are clean, organized, and free from hazards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with safety protocols in industrial cleaning environments is beneficial.
• A positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $18.99 - $20.63 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
