Senior Technical Accounting Manager

We are seeking a Technical Accounting Manager to join our dynamic and growing company in our New York City office. This role supports the head of our Finance team and contributes to the success of our global accounting operations in the US, UK, Singapore, and Netherlands.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Utilize analytical and math skills to assist the Director of Finance and VP of Finance in various accounting functions including :

• Documenting and updating existing Corporate Accounting Policies
• Preparing technical accounting memos to document significant and / or non-recurring transactions (e.g. ASC 606, ASC 842)
• Serving as the primary point of contact for US GAAP accounting standard changes, analyze, and advise on the potential impact to the business
• Coordinating the annual external audits
• Preparing regulatory reports for broker-dealer entity and overseas entities
• Assisting in tax analysis to support global strategies
• Enhancing the current accounting infrastructure to support firm's growth with a focus on management reporting
• Overseeing monthly financial reporting processes
• Developing and managing financial forecasts and budgets
• Managing payables and receivables, as well as intercompany activity

The estimated base salary range for a new hire into this position is $150,000 USD to $185,000 USD, plus a discretionary annual bonus. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
