Job Summary
HIRING IMMEDIATELY.
We are looking for individuals to join the team of the ALL NEW GLo by Best Western Pooler/Savannah Airport. If you have an outgoing personality and a desire to make people happy then you might be the person that we are looking for.
You will be responsible for maintaining, stocking, cleaning, and breaking down the complimentary breakfast buffet as well as attending to guests, refilling coffee, offering assistance in a polite and courteous manner. After breakfast is completed and put away, cleaning breakfast area, and other common/public areas.
You will be responsible for cleaning all public areas including but not limited to the lobby, public restrooms, fitness room, hallways, elevators, outside entrance way and parking lot, and emptying all trash cans in public areas.
Duties and Responsibilities
Sets up, maintains, and breaks down breakfast buffet.
Offers assistance, beverage refills, local information, and hotel information to guests.
Cleans all breakfast containers, equipment, utensils, storage areas, work surfaces, kitchen and breakfast room floors, tables, chairs, and other special projects as directed.
Tours all public areas to determine cleaning priorities.
Monitors public restrooms and cleans and restocks paper supplies as needed.
Rechecks public restrooms during busy periods no less than once an hour.
Clean fitness room.
Clean and vacuum hallways and elevator landings.
Clean elevators inside and outside.
Clean entrance ways and remove trash from outside trash cans.
Check parking lot to make sure there is no trash anywhere around.
Removes garbage from restrooms, kitchen, breakfast area at the end of each shift.
Stocks, maintains, and delivers to management orders for breakfast foods and supplies as needed.
Maintains compliance with company policies, practices, procedures, and safety standards as well as local health department guidelines.
Reports to supervisor any immediate problems, significant results, or related information.
Executes other associated responsibilities as directed by the management.
Reports in proper uniform which is cleaned and pressed.
Attends and participates in staff meetings as requested.
Ideal candidate must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time with few breaks.
Must be able to report to work by 5:00am. There may be mornings when you will be required to come in earlier.
