GLO Resources is hiring an experienced Project Manager or Project Engineer/Assistant Project Manager to work locally within St. Francisville and Baton Rouge surrounding areas. Base Salary: $80K - $90K (DOE), with potential earnings up to $125K - $130K with bonuses. The schedule is Monday-Friday with occasional overtime depending on project needs.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an adaptable and strategic Project Manager for commercial construction projects, including new builds, renovations, and buildouts. Projects range from $25K to $5M, typically small to mid-sized. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to understand and negotiate client and employee needs effectively, combining on-site and office-based work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage 3 to 5 projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and budget requirements.
- Oversee project contracting, cost controls, budgeting, and forecast reporting; track project expenses and ensure financial accountability.
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change management, and invoicing with a high level of accuracy.
- Negotiate project terms with stakeholders, adapting communication to meet different personality types and needs.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and clients, maintaining professional and clear communication.
- Utilize Procore, P6, or similar project management software suites to monitor project progress, schedules, and documentation.
- Make informed, timely decisions on project needs and challenges as they arise.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Engineer in commercial construction.
- Strong analytical skills and decision-making abilities.
- Experience managing budgets, scheduling, and project documentation.
- Proficiency in Procore, P6, or similar construction project management software suites.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with on-site and office teams.
- Willingness to handle local projects with minimal travel requirements.
