GLO Resources is hiring an experienced Vice President of OEM to work locally within Bay Springs, MS. The rate of pay is depending on experience between $175,000 and $200,000 annually. The schedule is Monday-Friday full-time with occasional overtime as needed.
Position Summary:
The Vice President (VP) of OEM will lead and grow the company’s OEM business in steel manufacturing and fabrication. This role focuses on developing strategic partnerships, driving sales, and ensuring operational efficiency to support OEM clients. The VP will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage OEM partnerships in industries such as construction, heavy equipment, and industrial manufacturing.
- Drive sales and revenue growth by securing new contracts and expanding existing relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, long-term agreements, and strategic partnerships to enhance market share.
- Oversee contract negotiations, pricing models, and supply agreements with OEM clients.
- Optimize production schedules, quality control, and cost management in steel fabrication.
- Ensure timely delivery of steel components by coordinating with suppliers, logistics, and manufacturing teams.
- Implement inventory management strategies to maintain cost efficiency and availability.
- Lead product development efforts, aligning steel fabrication solutions with OEM needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Manage and mentor teams, fostering a culture of growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in OEM sales, business development, or operations within steel manufacturing/steel fabrication.
- Experience in hydraulic cylinder manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong background in B2B sales, supply chain management, and contract negotiations.
- Knowledge of steel applications, fabrication processes, and industrial manufacturing.
- Proven leadership experience managing large teams, plant operations, or multi-site facilities.
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies.
- Ability to analyze KPIs, drive efficiencies, and implement cost-saving strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Industrial Manufacturing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
