Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Laser Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background and experience of at least 1 year in aesthetic laser treatments such as laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, laser skin rejuvenation among others, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Laser Technician, you will be responsible for performing various laser treatments while ensuring the highest standards of safety and care for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Perform esthetic laser treatments with precision and care, adhering to safety protocols.
- Work in conjunction with the nurse practitioners to develop individualized treatment plans for clients based on their needs, medical history, and the laser treatments provided.
- Ensure proper documentation of all treatments performed, including pre-treatment assessments and post-treatment care instructions and follow ups.
- Be knowledgeable about, and utilize appropriate skin analysis techniques and equipment to guide and track aesthetic laser treatments.
- Educate clients on laser treatments, expected results, post-treatment care, and any necessary precautions to take before and after laser treatment procedures.
- Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and the Medical Director to discuss any concerns, adjustments to treatment plans, and ensure compliance with all medical directives.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and treatment areas to ensure a safe environment.
- Engage in retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns effectively.
- Stay current with developments in laser technology, safety standards, and industry best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
- Valid Laser Technician License or Esthetician License (as required by Texas state law).
- Certification in laser hair removal and laser tattoo removal (or willingness to obtain certification as required).
- Experience performing laser hair removal and laser tattoo removal treatments in a medical or aesthetic setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of skin anatomy, contraindications, and safety protocols.
- Knowledge of Texas state laws and regulations regarding the scope of practice for laser technicians.
- Proficient in esthetic laser treatments with a strong understanding of skin types and conditions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
