The journey begins here - with Global- a 1st Flagship Company, we are currently looking for a Critical Work Supervisor for our facility in Philadelphia, PA.
What You'll Be Doing:
The role involves coordinating with trade supervisors and the Supply Department to align material and manpower resources for the efficient delivery of time-sensitive repair parts to the active fleet through the CASREP cannibalization system. The position requires overseeing employees involved in CASREP-related work, creating RRWOs, routing necessary paperwork, tracking man-hours, and providing daily SITREPs to the Work Control Manager on active CASREPs. Additionally, the role includes coordinating with the requesting activity to ensure proper equipment harvesting and ensuring accurate pricing information is recorded on DD Form 1149 and included in the quarterly reutilization report.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Minimum Requirements:
- Five (5) years ship maintenance related work experience.
- Two (2) years supervisory experience.
- Shall be knowledgeable of repair/maintenance procedures, rigging requirements, and industrial hazards associated with this type of work.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and qualify to operate government/company vehicles in accordance with the Corporate Fleet Vehicle Safety Manual.
Preferred Requirements:
- Familiarity with project management principles.
- Military experience at the level of non-commissioned officer or higher
