We are currently seeking an Electrician II to perform installation, maintenance, and repair of shipboard electrical systems at our Pearl Harbor site.
What You'll Be Doing:

Installing, overhauling, and repairing shipboard systems such as dehumidification machinery, cathodic protection systems, and fire/flooding alarms.

Maintaining and troubleshooting electrical components like motors, transformers, control panels, rectifiers, sensing devices, and automatic controls.

Fabricating, installing, and wiring electrical parts including switch panels, lighting fixtures, resistance heating units, and cubicles.

Performing inspections and testing of preservation equipment using specialized test tools, recording necessary data for reporting.

Installing and repairing shore power to ships.

Instructing Electrician Helpers as needed and collaborating with other departments to complete assignments on time and within cost.

Assisting in vessel mooring, arrival, and departure operations.

Following electrical safety procedures, SOPs, and environmental protection standards.

Working in physically demanding conditions, including lifting up to 60 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces or at heights.

Being available for overtime and traveling up to 25% for company business.

Performing additional duties in support of other trades or operational needs of the site.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Minimum:
-
Two (2) years of relevant ship electrical experience or equivalent military experience.

Commercial electrical experience will be considered in lieu of shipboard experience.
Preferred:
-
Five (5) years of relevant shipboard or industrial electrical experience or related military background.

Experience with 3-phase wiring, 220V/440V systems, and shipboard power systems.
