We are currently seeking an Inventory Technician to maintain property custody records and manage government-furnished property and equipment at our Pearl Harbor site.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Maintaining accurate records of Government Furnished Property (GFP) and Equipment (GFE), monitoring requisitions, receipts, and expenditures.
- Performing quality assurance checks on property held by custodians and managing all phases of cannibalization.
- Assisting with shipping and receiving, including unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, and matching purchase orders to sales orders.
- Sorting and placing materials in designated storage areas and ensuring the warehouse is organized and accessible.
- Recording materials received or distributed via GFM inventory listings and assisting with monthly (10%) and annual (100%) physical inventories.
- Preparing parcels for shipping, staging materials, and marking materials with identifying information.
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.
- Identifying tools, equipment, and parts for replacement or excess to the Supply and Property Manager.
- Handling weights up to 50 pounds and traveling distances of up to 100 feet, as required.
- Adhering to company policies and procedures and collaborating effectively with coworkers.
- Performing facilities maintenance duties and other tasks as assigned to support site operations.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Minimum:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three (3) years of inventory and management control experience.
- Experience managing GFP, GFE, and GFV, with knowledge of tools and their uses.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet the company's Vehicle Safety Manual requirements.
- Must qualify as a Forklift Operator within the specified time period outlined in the Offer Letter.
Preferred:
- Five (5) years of experience in supply or warehouse operations, or equivalent military experience in Supply and Logistics.
