Abrasive Belt Slitting Operator

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Production Operator will safely and efficiently operate manufacturing equipment to meet expected production rates.

• Responsible for basic daily/weekly maintenance of machinery and possess mechanical skills to assist maintenance team as needed.
• Working closely with the Operations team and Production leads to ensure consistent and efficient operation of equipment to meet daily safety, quality, and production goals.
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards and identify product defects.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
• Communicate problems to management and other technical resources to ensure quality parts are made.
• Follow documentation practices including filling out forms for product quality and traceability.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Minimum 3 years manufacturing experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to accurately use rulers and calipers.
• Prior experience utilizing adhesives, a plus.
• Previous experience with material slitting, a plus.
• Must be able to follow directions and perform work accurately and thoroughly
• Ability to interpret, edit, and program efficiently, when required
• High school Diploma or GED
• Lift up to 40 pounds, with additional team lift
• Fast paced production environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
