Position Overview:
The Private Equity Associate will play a key role in sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, supporting capital raises, and managing portfolio companies. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with a background in investment banking, consulting, or private equity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Due Diligence: Conduct financial modeling, valuation, and market analysis for potential acquisitions.
- Capital Raising: Prepare investor materials, including pitchbooks and term sheets, for prospective limited partners.
- Deal Execution: Lead transaction execution, including negotiation, structuring, and legal documentation.
- Deal Sourcing: Identify investment opportunities through conferences and proprietary outreach.
- Portfolio Management: Collaborate with portfolio companies to review performance and implement value creation plans.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in private equity, consulting, or investment banking.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Strong financial modeling skills with experience in M&A, leveraged finance, or restructuring.
