GMX is actively seeking a highly motivated, customer orientated Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our growing team focused on safety, service, and operations.
Essential Responsibilities/Duties:
- Ensures operation of aircraft by completing maintenance requirements following manufacturers instructions and industry best practices
- Understands and interprets manufacturers schematics, wiring diagrams, instructions for continued airworthiness and FAA Airworthiness Directives
- Experience with Part 91 100 hour, annual, pre buy and progressive inspections
- Maintains the stability and reputation of the company by understanding and complying with Federal Aviation Administration and other legal requirements
- Performs such typical maintenance operations as the removal and replacement of aircraft and powerplant components that require bolting, torquing, adjusting, rigging, and safety wiring to include powerplant and flight control removal/installation
- Troubleshoot, repair, clean, service, inspect, modify, replace, and/or overhaul aircraft and aircraft systems using approved/acceptable data to ensure airworthiness
- Follow all applicable instructions for Continued Airworthiness without exception to accomplish a specific task
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
- Perform work with efficiency to minimize time required to perform the task
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Experience on Piper, Cessna, Beech, MU-2 preferred
- Factory training preferred
- A&P License or ability to hold a Repairmans Certificate is required
- Must live or be willing to relocate to the Hazleton, PA area
- Up to $45/hr depending on experience
