The Global Alzheimer’s Platform Foundation (“GAP” ) is seeking an independent and responsible Revenue Accountant to support the Finance team and organization. This position requires excellent communication and coordination skills to facilitate teamwork and progress on a fast-paced team. Essential Job Functions
Revenue and Billing
● Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual revenue recognition and reporting.
● Review contracts to identify proper revenue recognition and reporting.
● Work closely with the Operations team to ensure accurate revenue reporting.
● Prepare monthly invoices to the Trial Execution Services clients.
● Assist with managing accounts receivable
Financial Planning and Analysis
· Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
· Analyze and report revenue variances
· Support financial budgeting and forecasting processes
· Support other accounting functions as needed
· Support ad-hoc projects as needed
Special Projects● Serve as Accountant-in-charge of vendor and site payables for Bio-Hermes-002 and our other bio-marker studies. Similar to revenue billing, this requires a keen understanding of the underlying contracts with vendors and clinical trial sites and the ability to review invoices for compliance with contractual terms.
● Participate and control budget preparation and control for trial services as well as biomarker studies.
● Occasional travel may be required to our owned clinical trial sites and for team meetings.
You would be a good fit if:
● You hold a Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of work experience (CPA a plus).
● You have experience with financial systems and implementing workflows, including Quickbooks Online, NetSuite, and BILL and are comfortable pulling data from multiple sources to complete a task
● You can read complex legal contracts and build spreadsheets to track invoiceable events in accordance with contractual terms
● You are highly analytical and solve problems with spreadsheets.
● You have attention to detail and enjoy staying organized.
● You are highly proactive and always follow up.
● You are highly adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
● You self-direct and learn and work productively in a remote setting.
● You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
