What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oracle EBS MFG consultant position at Global Applications Solution?
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage Oracle EBS Manufacturing module implementations, upgrades, and customizations.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Configure Oracle Manufacturing modules, including BOM, WIP, Cost Management, and related SCM modules, to meet client-specific requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the Manufacturing modules, ensuring smooth operations.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-implementation support.
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful integrations with other Oracle and non-Oracle systems.
- Conduct system testing, data validation, and ensure compliance with industry best practices.
- Act as a subject matter expert for Oracle EBS Manufacturing modules, staying updated with the latest Oracle offerings and features.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience as an Oracle EBS Functional Consultant, specifically in Manufacturing modules.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle Manufacturing modules, including but not limited to:
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Work in Process (WIP)
- Cost Management
- Inventory
- Purchasing
- Strong expertise in full-cycle implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
- Hands-on experience in system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and best practices.
- Ability to analyze and document business requirements effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of Oracle R12 and 11i versions is essential.
- Experience in using Oracle AIM or OUM methodologies is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud Manufacturing is a plus.
- Experience in integration with other modules like Order Management, Supply Chain, and Finance.
- Knowledge of OTBI reporting and analytical tools.
