Job Title: Sr. SAP EPPM & FICO Functional Specialist - Construction

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sr. SAP EPPM & FICO Functional Specialist with a strong background in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of SAP EPPM solutions, specifically focusing on the integration with financial processes. The role requires hands-on experience in Project Systems (PS) and Commercial Project Management (CPM) modules, as well as expertise in SAP S/4HANA FICO. This is a leadership role, where you will guide workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement, configure, and support SAP EPPM solutions for construction projects, ensuring seamless integration with FICO modules.
- Design, configure, and deploy Project Systems (PS), Portfolio Management (PPM), and Commercial Project Management (CPM) modules tailored for the construction industry.
- Integrate SAP EPPM with SAP S/4HANA FICO modules, focusing on job costing, project invoicing, and contract management for construction projects.
- Lead workshops, provide leadership, and resolve issues related to SAP EPPM, PS, and FICO business processes.
- Provide functional expertise and guidance to the business community for EPPM/PS/FICO areas.
- Support project teams by ensuring adherence to SAP templates and best practices.
- Maintain documentation for design, configuration, and training material related to SAP EPPM processes.
- Conduct testing activities, including integration, unit, and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate with external vendors, banks, and other third parties for system integrations and upgrades.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
- Provide ongoing support to users, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 10 years of experience in SAP EPPM, PS, and FICO.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP configuration and implementation in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, including integration with modules like FI, CO, PS, MM, SD, PM, PP.
- Extensive hands-on experience in managing construction processes, including job costing, revenue recognition, and contract management.
- Experience in SAP Data Migration and Interfaces, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to develop technical designs.
- Ability to independently solve complex issues related to EPPM/PS/FICO and offer practical solutions.
- Proven track record in leadership and workshop facilitation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and integration with construction-specific tools (e.g., B2W bidding software).
- Strong knowledge of Vertex or other tax solutions that integrate with SAP.
- Familiarity with Revenue Recognition processes (RAR) and best practices in the construction industry.
- SAP Certification in EPPM, FICO, or PS modules.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SAP certification in relevant modules (EPPM, FICO, PS) is a plus.
Working Conditions:
- This position requires being onsite in Atlanta, GA, three days per week (Tuesday-Thursday).
- Flexible start and end times as long as you are onsite from 10 AM - 3 PM (EST) on designated days.
- Occasional travel may be required based on project needs.
