Job Overview & Responsibilities:
- Manage complex, cross-functional projects within the Revenue Systems portfolio, enabling United Airlines to improve revenue contribution and business processes.
- Provide status updates and manage communication across teams, stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
- Understand project scope, including root cause analysis, business improvements, and project milestones (requirements, design, funding, build, etc.).
- Develop and manage financial budgets, secure approvals, build business cases, and submit accurate monthly forecasts.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring all teams stay aligned and on track.
Qualifications (Required):
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing IT projects.
- Experience managing large, complex projects (at least $2 million budget) across multiple functions.
- 2-5 years of IT and/or business experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Proven ability to deliver projects using PMBOK methodologies.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) across all organizational levels.
- Task Management: Ability to translate planning into action, monitor tasks proactively, and resolve or escalate issues effectively.
- Integrity and Trust: Must be a truthful, direct individual who maintains confidentiality and accountability.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively, mentor team members, and build relationships enterprise-wide.
- Customer Focus: Dedicated to understanding and meeting internal/external customer needs.
