Sales Planning Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:

Global Atlantic has a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual interested in continued career growth to join our team as a Sales Planning Analyst.  The ideal candidate is positive, willing to learn, collaborative and possesses strong attention to detail and time management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete accurate, timely reporting and analysis and distribute across the business.
• Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis as requested by business partners and management.
• Analyze reports to identify key drivers of changes and communicate to management.
• Complete the monthly reconciliation and validation of variable incentive compensation.
• Update financial models for sales planning and forecasting.
• Document processes, identify areas for improvement and help implement solutions.
• Research variances in cross-functional reports/data and identify causes or explanations.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet requirements for reporting and analytics.
• Project support as needed, such as building business requirements, user acceptance testing, on-going data integrity review, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree and one (1 ) years of finance, accounting or related experience.
• Display positive attitude and willingness to learn reporting/analytical tools and processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
• Experience using Business Objects, Tableau or other reporting/analytical tools preferred.
• Experience with data mining, manipulation and analysis.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, work ethic and high level of personal integrity and accountability.
• Ability to work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
