Risk Management Group - Global Financial Institution-Bank / NYC / Hybrid
Job Title: Temporary support (3-4 months).
MUST be local to NYC Metro Area
Responsibilities
- Work with First Line of Defense (“FLOD”) and SLOD to establish and maintain appropriate risk appetite in line with the required procedures.
- Facilitate Risk Appetite related activity, Risk Identification, Strategic risk working group and Reputation risk working group.
- Establish and/or revise policies, procedures, Risk Appetite Statements, and other relevant documents.
- Respond to requests from internal and external examiners and auditors in a timely manner.
- Based on changes in the business work environment, job responsibilities can change, and additional functions and tasks may be added or removed accordingly. Additionally, this position will perform other duties as required, and participate in special projects as deemed necessary and appropriate by Management.
Skills & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of relevant work experience within Risk Management, specifically focused in Risk Governance and/or Credit Risk
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other Office products.
- Must be versatile, able to work effectively, independently, and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities.
Salary : $35 - $45
