Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and testing adhesives, sealants, and coatings
- Evaluating, collecting, and recording data, including organizing experiments and summarizing results in a laboratory notebook
- Using a computer to enter data and create charts and tables to communicate project results
- Developing cleaners, pretreatments, and coatings from chemical ingredients and testing their performance characteristics
Requirements:
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to follow experimental protocols and ensure data preservation
- Comfortable working with toxic chemicals and following safe laboratory practices
- Ability to stand for most of the day and physical stamina to perform laboratory tasks
