Position Overview
The Area Manager is responsible for the supervision and execution of cleaning operations across multiple commercial sites in the Virginia Peninsula area. The ideal candidate is a dependable leader who can motivate and manage a diverse team, maintain accountability, and ensure excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise cleaning operations across a multi-location territory.
- Assign and schedule team members to ensure full coverage and efficiency.
- Conduct regular site inspections to maintain high standards and address issues proactively.
- Train, coach, and develop new and existing staff, ensuring consistency in performance.
- Hold team members accountable for attendance, quality of work, and adherence to company policies.
- Work with a diverse team—manage different personalities, work styles, and backgrounds effectively.
- Ensure reliability and consistency in service across all locations.
- Organize, plan, and meet operational goals while maintaining budgetary requirements.
Requirements
What We're Looking For:
- A hardworking, responsible, and dependable leader with a strong work ethic.
- 3 years of supervisory experience in custodial services, facility maintenance, or a similar field.
- Excellent people management skills—must be able to lead and support a diverse workforce.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in quality control, performance management, and training.
- A commitment to maintaining high service standards and reliability across all locations.
- Willing and able to travel to multiple locations
