Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks, including disinfecting surfaces, maintaining restrooms, and handling floor care. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and understands the importance of cleanliness in maintaining a professional space. A strict background check is required. Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize interior spaces, including floors, windows, walls, and doors
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, office furniture, and exam tables
- Maintain cleaning supply inventory and notify the supervisor when restocking is needed
- Empty trash and recycling bins regularly
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Clean and maintain restrooms, ensuring hygiene standards are met
- Report any safety hazards or maintenance issues to supervisors
- Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers (if needed)
- Dust furniture and fixtures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education, Training, & Certification
Education: At least a high school diploma or GED is required for this position, as well as some experience.
Experience: Cleaners will receive on-the-job training while working underneath a more experienced Cleaner for a brief period. Cleaner can also earn several certifications specific to different areas, such as biohazard cleaning.
Skills & Competencies
Qualified candidates need the following skills and qualities:
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of various cleaning products and when to use them
- Ability to clean and disinfect various surfaces
- Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds
- Good organization skills
- Knowledge of safety guidelines when working with chemical cleaners
- Excellent time-management skills
Multiple shifts available based on location need!
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $13.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends as needed
