Job Description
The Manager, Global Membership Sales & Business Development will generate global dues and non-dues revenue streams from new and existing global membership of GCCA Associate, CEBA General and Associate membership categories. This role will lead growth in membership sales and support sponsorship activities. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder with a proven track record of sustained business development success.
Essential Duties
Membership & Business Development Sales
- Manage GCCA Associate Member and CEBA General and Associate member category recruitment sales.
- GCCA and CEBA sponsorship and exhibit sales for industry events and programs
- Manage sales cycle for all GCCA Associate and CEBA related non-dues revenue streams (sponsorships, advertising, other)
- Manage member listings and ensure accuracy for the GCCA Market Directory, develop and publish annual GCCA / GCCF / CEBA sponsorship opportunities guide.
- Support Foundation development activities
- Develop and continuously maintain GCCA Associate, CEBA General and Associate prospect lists through Alliance systems (ie. Salesforce, etc.) including collaboration with Member Services, Marketing / Industry promotion and International teams.
- Coordinate, maintain and regularly conduct outreach (calls, digital communications, meetings, etc.) to business development prospect pipeline and support in-person prospect / member / sponsor meetings as needed
- Collaborate with GCCA Member Services, Marketing, Accounting and International Offices to leverage global membership and sponsorship packages, accurate billing, website listings and member / sponsor onboarding and service execution.
- Communicate with current and potential members and sponsors to deliver value opportunities for their companies
- Develop and maintain strong professional relationships with key personnel at member and prospective member companies
