What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Manager position at Global Comms Exchange, LLC?
This role will be responsible for the following duties:
Responsible for production schedule for on-time completion
Identify and report key concerns that may change or impact production schedule
Generate and manage WIP Report for tracking development
Generate and manage Production labor cost estimates for each product line
Develop manufacturing processes and visual aids by studying product requirement, evaluate validation methods, and identify new tools/equipment with ROI analysis
Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Ensures product and process quality by designing test methods and injection of Quality checks within the production process.
Scheduling shifts and workers to provide proper coverage and manage overtime
Analyzing work order cost to ensure the production process stays within budget
Handling productivity problems and production disruptions
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure all products are analyzed as reproducible, scalable and repeatable.
Basic Qualifications: To be successful, you will need to possess these basic qualifications:
Electrical and Mechanical Manufacturing – 10 yrs experience
Ability to complete a background check.
Ability to complete HAZMAT Training and Surveillance provided by company.
Be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to read and comprehend written work instructions.
Schematic, Cable, Wire routing experience
MS Office proficiency
Must be willing to travel – <5%
