Job Summary
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Principal oversees the instruction and culture of the school building. The
Principal is responsible for both sustaining and improving a culture of high academic excellence.
The Principal will directly supervise the Assistant Principal, the Coach/IB Coordinator, the Dean,
the School Counselor and selected teachers.

Principal
Job Summary

Instructional Leadership
- Ensures that all students on the campus exhibit strong achievement gains
- Conducts regular classroom visits in coordination with the Assistant Principal and other

support to all teachers
- Implements the IB program with the New York mandated Learning Standards and Testing
- Routinely leverages student achievement data and other data points to recommend and
