What are the responsibilities and job description for the Firmware Engineer position at Global Connect Technologies?
• Bare metal experience and knowledge of RTOS
• Application design experience, smaller company experience would be BEST
o Someone who has written a complete embedded application, came up with the main logic of the program, architected the program, understands what modules are needed, etc. Understands big pieces of the project.
• Embedded C programming experience
• Vehicle communication protocols: CANopen or J1939 OR demonstrated experience with other communication protocols (only UART isn’t sufficient), application with TCPIP, serial communication protocols, etc.
