Weekend Maintenance Technician

Beso Del Sol Resort, a quaint and charming boutique property, is currently seeking a dedicated Weekend Maintenance Technician to uphold our standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency. This role is critical to ensuring our guests enjoy a seamless and comfortable stay over the weekend. We're flexible with the hours, tailoring them to fit your schedule while ensuring resort needs are met. 

Schedule: 

Friday through Sunday - Hours are negotiable based on the candidate's availability and resort requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including but not limited to, plumbing, electrical repairs, painting, and carpentry work.
• Conduct daily property checks to identify and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Ensure all equipment and facilities are in excellent working condition.
• Respond to guest requests for maintenance assistance in a timely and courteous manner.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, ordering replacements as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Physical capability to handle tools and perform tasks that involve lifting and climbing.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
