Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual ASAP to join our team as a Construction/General Laborer that'll compliment our team. Someone who is self-motivated, dedicated, hard working and reliable. In this role, you will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to work as part of a team and individually, and a willingness to learn new skills in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in various residential construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, finishing work, decks, roof, siding, tiling, bathrooms, renovations, etc.
- Perform quality work with and/or without supervision.
- Load and unload materials and equipment at job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks on the job site.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools.
- Support the team in completing projects on time by performing assigned tasks promptly.
- Report any issues or concerns to the owner in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in construction is required. Someone knowledgeable to lead on a project or task at hand.
- Available to work full-time.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the day.
- Ability to work outdoors in inclement weather when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team environment or independently.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take directions.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and maintain a positive attitude on the job site.
