Overview
Reports to: Accounts Payable Manager
Functions Supervised: None
Primary Functions: To ensure the timely and accurate payment of invoices and check requests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications
Education: Community College Certificate or College Degree in Accounting preferred.
Creditable Experience in Lieu of Education: Not Applicable
Experience/Skills: Two years A/P experience preferred. Must be familiar with accounting and bookkeeping principles and procedures and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must have attention to detail, organizational skills and productivity working with large volumes of documents. Experience with automated payables systems and software including Excel, Word and Outlook required.
Tenure: Accounts Payable Representative II, Category 12, requires 12-24 months tenure in the Accounts Payable Representative I position. Accounts Payable Representative III, Category 11, requires 12-24 months superior performance in the Accounts Payable Representative II position with proven ability to manage an increase in job responsibilities. Advancement to the Accounts Payable Representative II or III position requires management recommendation and will be based on the candidate's performance.
Compensation
Salary Pay Range:
- Accounts Payable Representative I (Category 13): $44,803 - $66,309 annually
- Accounts Payable Representative II (Category 12): $48,387 - $73,549 annually
- Accounts Payable Representative III (Category 11): $52,258 - $81,523 annually
- Senior Accounts Payable Representative (Category 10): $57,484 - $90,825 annually
Starting base salary will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, education, and local or state wage requirements, if applicable and will fall within the range provided above.
In accordance with our Salary Administration policy, new hire base salaries generally fall within the minimum to midpoint of the listed range.
