About The Role
Global Crossing Airlines is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance HRL Base Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repair, and modification of aircraft at our base. This leadership role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies while managing maintenance teams, coordinating tasks, and making informed decisions to guarantee the safe and efficient operation of aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide shift-level management, operational oversight, and procedural guidance.
- Develop and prioritize maintenance plans to ensure aircraft are returned to service efficiently.
- Supervise compliance with Global Crossing Airlines' maintenance manuals and company policies.
- Ensure timely communication with Maintenance Control and Planning for scheduled maintenance.
- Oversee the availability and calibration of aircraft tooling for daily maintenance tasks.
- Manage labor schedules to ensure sufficient manpower for maintenance operations.
- Ensure accurate documentation compliance, including entry into maintenance tracking systems.
- Oversee compliance with labor agreements or contracts where applicable.
- Conduct performance assessments and training for AMTs on Trax maintenance inputs.
- Authorize airworthiness determinations, tool serviceability, and maintenance workforce assignments.
- FAA Certificated Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License (Required).
- Minimum 10 years of aircraft line maintenance experience.
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience in aircraft line maintenance Supervision.
- Working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 121 Federal Aviation Regulations.
- Experience managing a Line Maintenance Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program.
- High school diploma required (Bachelor’s degree in management, engineering, or related field preferred).
- Strong ability to plan, organize, and manage workloads effectively.
- Expertise in 121 Federal Aviation Regulations and airline maintenance operations.
- Proficiency in aircraft maintenance tracking systems (Trax preferred).
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Experience with A320 Family aircraft operations, including taxiing and typical GSE equipment use.
- Ensure SMS compliance and safety risk identification.
- Manage field trips, tooling, parts, and hazmat coordination.
- Determine maintenance manpower requirements and approve scheduling.
- Enforce contracts and agreements related to line maintenance and vendors.
- Create a full maintenance schedules for the line technicnians.
