TITLE: Safety Sr Auditor
REPORTS TO: VP, Director of safety
OVERVIEW:
The Senior Safety Auditor plays a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing GlobalX's commitment to safety and regulatory compliance. Reporting to the Director of Safety, this position is responsible for conducting remote and on-site audits of facilities, operations, maintenance, and stations. The Senior Safety Auditor ensures adherence to safety protocols, investigates incidents, and provides recommendations for continuous improvement. This role is essential in fostering a proactive safety culture across the organization and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Senior Auditor reports to the Director of Safety and conducts remote and home audits of facilities, operations, maintenance, and stations. Responsibilities include;
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions,
- Investigate accidents and incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences,
- Conduct updates and maintenance of the GlobalX SMS and ERP manuals,
- Communicate safety programs, policies, and procedures to management and employees,
- Train employees on safety procedures and provide ongoing education to promote a culture of safety awareness,
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure continuous improvement in safety standards,
- Works in close liaison with Maintenance and Continuing Analysis and Surveillance Systems.
- Other projects as assigned by the Director of Safety.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous 121 Airline audit experience.
- Previous Maintenance Inspector or Director of Maintenance,
- Previous 121 experience in the role of a FAA 119 qualified position as Director Safety, Chief Inspector
- Familiar with the Safety Management System,
- Previous FAA Certificate Management Team interface experience,
- Previous FAA Data Collection Tool experience
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Good analytical skills.
- Leadership skills and an authoritative approach; and worthy of respect from peers and management
- This is a remote position, requiring excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to collaborate effectively with various teams across the organization.

Salary : $77,500 - $95,200
