The Business Intelligence Analyst plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across a fast-paced automotive distribution organization. This individual will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams—including data engineers, architects, QA professionals, and business stakeholders—to transform complex data sets into intuitive, actionable insights.
As a key contributor to the company’s BI initiatives, this analyst supports a wide internal audience, providing data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that enhance operations across departments such as sales, finance, and logistics.
Hybrid 3 days/week in Dunwoody, GA
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain dynamic reports, dashboards, and scorecards using tools such as Power BI, providing visibility into KPIs and operational performance.
- Partner with stakeholders to uncover insights and deliver clear, actionable recommendations based on business needs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine data models, ensure data accuracy, and establish robust metrics frameworks.
- Design scalable and maintainable datasets with a focus on performance and user experience.
- Implement role-based access controls and maintain security protocols to ensure data confidentiality and compliance.
- Create standardized metrics and calculations to improve data consistency across reports.
- Operate within an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Take ownership of deliverables and iterate based on user feedback and evolving business needs.
- Stay informed about the latest BI trends, technologies, and Power BI enhancements.
- Continuously explore new techniques to streamline reporting and enhance analytical capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field. A Master’s degree in Statistics or similar is a plus.
- 2-5 years of experience with Power BI (or similar platforms such as Tableau), including DAX, tabular modeling, and performance tuning.
- SQL Proficiency - strong skills in writing complex queries, stored procedures, and data extracts from relational databases.
- Deep understanding of metrics and KPIs; ability to cleanse, validate, and synthesize large data sets Excellent verbal and written skills to effectively convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving data inconsistencies and system-related issues.
- Familiarity with core functions such as sales operations, financial reporting, or supply chain logistics is highly desirable.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
