Our team is currently looking for an Incident Investigator for a client in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Job Description:

Powering Progress strategy. The business has its own catalyst manufacturing assets, JVs and partnerships, who supply 150 Mil Lbs of catalyst products and provide technologies and services to >75 alliances/partners and > 500 customers, operating in >50 countries.
The HSSE Advisor position is a part of the broader HSSE organization within SC&T and reports to the Catalyst MFG & Supply Ops HSSE Manager for SC&T.
As the HSSE Advisor, the incumbent will be responsible to provide HSSE support and assurance to the SC&T Plant in close cooperation with the Site HSSE Manager and Senior HSSE Advisor, to achieve an outstanding HSSE performance, advising on all aspects of Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) programs to facilitate compliance with internal and external regulations and standards.
This includes:
• Providing Field Leadership, advice, and support for and developing HSSE activities and HSSE programs at the plant
• Site Safety Management System:
- Maintains compliance with SEAM Standards
- HSSE Procedure management: Reviews, Updates, regulation inclusion, etc.
- HSSE Assurance: Supports the HSSE Manager in executing site Line1 audits, coordinating Line2, Line3 programs, also supports Plant Manager/HSSE Manager in working with action parties on site for effective and on-time action item closeout.
- Evaluation of incoming reports (Walk & Talks) and internal Line1 audits, in particular by documenting these reports and audits, statistical evaluation, monthly reporting, initiation and coordination of consultations for discussion and determination of measures with the divisions
- Supports annual reviews for work processes that serve as controls for High Risk work, e.g. PTW, CSE, and Safe Isolation
- Supports local Roadmap to Goal Zero Program
- Conducts/Coordinates HSSE Annual Management Review • Supports Monthly LT HSSE Meetings
- Supports Annual Management Review
- Supports Leads Monthly LT HSSE Meetings
- Back up Site Hazard Registrar Focal Point
Safety
- Permit Issuer
- Coaching for a strong HSSE culture on Operational level
- Participate in Incident investigations, Learning Developing and sharing of learnings
- Active support in the preparation of risk assessments
- Conduct Walk-N-Talks and provide field presence to assist in ensuring work is being conducted safely
- Host Impactful Safety Meetings / Toolbox talks with staff and contractors
- Provide HSSE Admin support for KPIs, WnT, Line1s, etc.
- MOC Coordinator/Fire Protection Officer/Security Focal Point or other role need by the HSSE Manager Position Title: HSSE Advisor – SC&T 2
- Supports Monthly Safety Meeting agenda & content
Contractor HSSE Management
- Supports Site Contractor Grading & Waivers
- Supports Site Specific Orientation Video and Test Content
- Supports review of contractor HSSE plans and contract modes
- Supports conducting Contractor HSSE performance reviews with Contract Holder and HSSE Manager
Environment
- Supports Environmental Manager to achieve compliance to Environmental regulations related to air, water, and waste.
- Provides visible Field Leadership in environmental matters, working with all practitioners and stakeholders on site for proactive management and mitigation of all threats to Environmental performance, thereby minimizing ENCs.
- Supports Environmental Manager in implementing Environment or Respecting Nature improvement programs at the plant
- Support building awareness and capabilities in key environmental performance parameters at the frontline
Employee Health
- Supports Site Hearing Conservation Program
- Supports Site Respiratory Protection Program
- Manages Site Fitness to Work Program: Physicals, RTW, Injury/Illness, etc...
- Offsite Medical Provider Contract Holder/Owner
- Workers Comp Focal Point: Initiates Claim (Tristar)
- OSHA Log reporting (OSHA 300)
- Site Safety Shoe and Safety Glasses Contract Owner
Security
- Back up Site Security Focal Point
- Supports tracking and reporting Security KPIs Monthly
- Supports performing and facilitating Site Security Risk Assessments (Annual and 5 year)

The incumbent must have proven experience working in an HSSE or Production role.
This role has significant elements of integrating across multiple interfaces and leading without direct authority. As such it requires pronounced skills in the areas of:

- excellent communication skills (oral & written)
- Knowledge level competency in SEAM Standards, HSSE Risk Management and other applicable standards required.
