Outside Sales Representative – Lubricants & Fuels (Field Sales)
Location: West Texas (Lubbock, TX)
About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Outside Sales Representative to expand one of our client's customer base in the industrial, commercial, and transportation sectors. This role requires a strong focus on new business development and managing and growing existing accounts. The ideal candidate has experience in fuels, lubricants, and related products and thrives in a field-based sales environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and acquire new accounts in industries such as construction, trucking, aggregates, and heavy equipment
- Grow existing customer relationships by identifying opportunities to expand product and service offerings
- Maintain a strong understanding of bulk fluids, diesel, gasoline, greases, and lubricants to effectively sell solutions
- Develop and execute a territory sales strategy to meet or exceed revenue targets
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across various industries
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely communication, order fulfillment, and issue resolution
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience (preferably in industrial, construction, fuel, or lubricant sales)
- Strong new business development skills with the ability to generate leads and close deals
- Previous experience in field sales with the ability to travel within the assigned territory
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel as needed
