Requirements for the Risk Data Engineer:
- 5-10 years experience working in similar position
- Experience leading efforts to structure and organize data and collaborate with data experts to implement effective data models and schemes
- Experience in data orchestration, ETL processes, and data integration
- Experience with C & SQL
- Familiarity with DevOps way of working and CI/CD
- Past experience with designing a risk system, able to confirm understanding of concepts
- Understanding of high level risk systems and must be able to design these systems
- Knowledge of Kafka (for event driven risk calculations), security considerations, scalability considerations
- Strong knowledge of data transformation, data quality, and data governance
- Experience working in an agile environment and with agile practices
- Capable of collaborating with global team members, which may involve off-hour meetings
- Able to work independently and develop effective solutions
