JOB OVERVIEW
The Rotary Setter is responsible for the efficient setup and teardown of the duon rotary equipment. This role involves troubleshooting rotary-related process issues and ensuring adherence to safety protocols, good housekeeping practices and effective processing standards.
DUTIES
- Retrieve rotary tools according to the production schedule.
- Prioritize and ensure the timely production of urgent orders.
- Return removed tools to their designed locations.
- Clean PM gears as needed and inspect blades for nicks and sharpness, check sponges for wear an tear.
- Verify proper alignment of rotary die to anvil and vacuum guide using laser alignment tools as necessary.
- Eliminate any side to side play by shimming to ensure tightness.
- Utilize minimal aire pressure to ensure proper cutting and prevent tooling damage
- Monitor and maintain the proper operation of equipment and processes.
- Secure all take off, vacuum, conveyor, packaging, waste removal methods, ensuring disposal of linear scrap.
- Always maintain rotary safetyensuring guards are secure and in porper working order.
- Report any safety violations/accidents and any unsafe conditions to leadership immediately.
- Adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Inspect the rotary process site and equipment for loose components that pose a risk.
- Troubleshoot rotary processes as they arise.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of the rotary setting process.
- Understanding of how the Rotary Setter role impacts the mission of the organization.

- Effective Communication skills
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of IATF 16949, EMS and Quality Managment Systems Awareness requirements pertaining to the rotary setting role.
- Knowledge of industry standards relating to quality and safety regulations.
- GED or High School Diploma
- Basic Math, Reading Skills and Mechanical Aptitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
